On The Road: Week 2

From Mifflinburg, PA to Buffalo, NY
Karen and I departed Mifflinburg, PA and made the four hour drive into Buffalo, NY without any issues. Wednesday we visited Global US Headquarters, reconnected with staff (Pat, Mary Ellen, Bee, Bob, Al, and Elena), and had a meeting or two before making the drive into Canada between snow flurries on Thursday.

Once at the retreat center, "Pearable Ministries," we've focused on preparing for our Winter 2016 Candidate Orientation which runs tomorrow (Sunday) through Friday, with a team debrief Saturday. Tom & Diana, our member care folks, arrive at the center later today. Don & Karen, our northern mobilizers, arrive Sunday along with Greg (our VP of Personnel) and the 3 missionary couples and 3 missionary singles participating in this orientation. Karen and I represent the "partnership" side of our HR Team. Please pray for us as we spend the week investing in the lives of Global missionaries heading to Japan, Haiti, Philippines, Honduras, and North America.

We'll update as we can once the orientation starts, but our days and nights are going to be rather full. Track our Facebook pages for quick posts.
