A Visit By Supporters and Our Trip to England

Karen and I were blessed by a visit from supporters of ours from the Pacific Northwest. Jeff and Sherry met us at MMS right as the blog seminar was coming to a close on Monday. This is one of those God things in that Jeff and Sherry had been supporting us for several months but had never met us! We had a blast together starting out with lunch at the Yucatan Mexican Restaurant and then continued like tourists for the remainder of Monday and Tuesday. It was a nice break for us.

We had some light rain to deal with on Monday but Tuesday was absolutely gorgeous. With
perfect Ohio weather to enjoy, we spent Tuesday exploring Amish country to expose Jeff and Sherry to that unique culture and lifestyle. We also taught them how to play Dutch Blitz which, if you haven't played it, is an Amish card game which can get rather wild. Surprisingly wild considering it is Amish, but it is a lot of fun. Jeff & Sherry's visit was a sweet time of fellowship, fun, and prayer. In the photo: Jeff, Sherry, Karen, and me.

And remember Jeff, the object of Dutch Blitz is to finish with the highest positive score, not the lowest negative score! Thanks again for making us part of your trip. We greatly enjoyed our time with you guys.

Departure Date For England Rapidly Approaches
You'll notice I've added a WeatherBug for our three week trip to England. This way you can follow our weather while we're over there. I'll blog a bit more about our trip in tomorrow's post. As we leave for the airport Friday afternoon, I guess I'd better start thinking about packing, too.

Thanks for taking such an interest in us. Feel free to pass our blog site to others you think would enjoy following our lives and ministry.

You should really let your visitors and first time Blitz players win.
