Here's our Quality Control Inspectors Tucker and Tanner getting ready to put their paw of approval on the harvest. (They would have much rathered put their jowls of approval
on the harvest!)
on the harvest!)
Here's our highly trained and specially equipped staff of jalepeno pepper slicers and dicers ready to put the old chop-chop on the spicy salsa seasonings.
Oh, man oh man. The salsa anxiety is fading fast...
(Tanya, thanks for the tomato donation!) Lord willing, we'll get another harvest out of the tomatoes before the weather turns too cold.
We'll report on today's homeowner project in an upcoming blog.

14½ pints isn't bad.
Not bad at all.
Not bad indeed! Lord willing we'll get another 14 1/2 before before the season ends!
Looks good enough to eat! But we will look at your supply in jars when we get there! Love Dad
So how much is each pint selling for?
Yum!
..no comment.......just.....no.... comment......I mean, what comment could a person possibly make after seeing pictures like that...
...and how can you other people make passing comments about salsa and just totally ignore the picture of the Salsa Bandito and his chic? Of course maybe your motive is good--not wanting to encourage them in their craziness. That is a worthy motive.
I love the pictures!! It all looks wonderful...I was wondering though, do you have to wear the masks and gear when you eat it too?! :)
Again, I have to agree with Brenda...the salsa looks great but the Salso Bandito and his Chic ...Oh My! The salsa and the pic both bring tears to my eyes!
Hey guys and gals, thanks so much for your comments! They make blogging more fun! It looks like we'll have enough tomatoes to cut up and cook up another batch of screaming hot salsa next week. Be watching for the Salsa Bandito and His Hot Tamale Babe to make another appearance.
